AMCS works hard to create marine sanctuaries, save our threatened ocean wildlife and make our fisheries sustainable.
As a not-for-profit charity we rely on the financial support of ocean lovers like you.
Whether you're running a marathon, climbing a mountain, shaving your hair or simply celebrating your birthday, you can make a world of difference for our seas by setting up your own Fundraising Project Pages (individually or as teams) with your goals, photos, videos and blogs. With unlimited access to share your Fundraising page via emails, Facebook, Twitter, posters and widgets, there is no limit to the difference you can make!
You can create your own fundraising event or you can join a pre-existing charity event today!
How do I create my own fundraiser?
It's easy! You can choose from four different fundraising sites that AMCS has partnered with so you can create your own fundraising page to raise funds for the seas. You can fundraise through either
Everyday Hero
,
GoFundraise
,
Karma Currency or My Cause!

In a few simple steps you can create your own fundraising page and set a target to raise valuable funds for our ocean wildlife. At the same time, you'll be raising awareness of the good work of our charity. Once you've created your page, you can contact your friends, family and colleagues and ask them to help you help out for the cause! |
|
Click on either of the fundraising sites above and look up an existing charity event in your state. If an event doesn't yet exist in your state, we are still jumping through hoops to become eligible. In the meantime, we'd love for you to set up your own fundraising event for the seas!

Thank you to everyone who participated
in
the Sydney City2Surf!
Over $5000 was raised for our conservation campaigns, and our runners had a great day out running and walking for the oceans.
Thanks in particular to Cath, Jo and Melanie for managing the entire 14kms in their fantastic shark suits. It's not easy being a terrestrial shark but these dedicated fundraisers put their fins to the footpath to help bring an end to shark fin trade in Australia. You women are truly amazing!! |
